1. Anonyomised Data
You can visit our website without having to give any personal data. A visit to our website can result in the storage on our server of information about the access (date, time, page accessed). This does not represent any analysis of personal data (e.g., name, address or e-mail address), and thus does not fall under the regulation as stated by the BDSG of the Federal Data Protection. Please refer to the section: A Right to be Informed & Opting-Out
2. Personal Data
As far as personal data is collected (for example name, residential address or email address) on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis. The collection of personally-identifiable data is only to the extent necessary for the specific purpose, such as making contact and executing and invoicing of contracts.
3. General Security Risks of Data Traffic
We would like to point out that the transmission of data via the Internet (e.g., by e-mail) can offer security vulnerabilities. It is therefore impossible to safeguard the data completely against access by third parties. Security depends upon the systems you use and how you treat your own privacy. You should be careful when accessing confidential data, never save passwords in your browser and close your browser’s window when you have finished visiting the website. Like this, it will be more difficult for other people to access your personal data. You should use an operating system that gives rights to its users. You also can create in your system several users of your family and you should never access the Internet under administrator rights. Update your antivirus regularly and keep your system updated. Your personal data will not be sent, transferred, sold or commercialised to third parties. The operator reserves the rights to pursue legal steps in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising, such as spam mails.
4. Purpose of the Collection of Personal Data
We will ask you to provide personal data when you use our internet portal in order for you to carry out a booking or to provide you with more information or queries submitted, or in the case of you subscribing to our newsletter, or whether you decide to use other services on offer were the processing of personal data is needed. An example of such is when you purchase a gift voucher or when you take part in a competition. This data will be used solely for the purposes mentioned above unless we receive your consent otherwise. The data will be used only to the extent necessary for the specific purpose, such as making, executing and invoicing of contracts. Once the said purpose has been fulfilled, your data will be stored in compliance with tax and trade law requirements and for statistical reasons.
5. Disclosure of Personal Data to a Third Party
We are subject to data protection requirements and provisions of the German Data Protection law. The personally-identifiable information collected by us, as part of a contractual relationship, will be disclosed to sub-companies in order to engage their services such as the provider of touristic services (i.e. technical handling of post, email, dispatching or customer service) or to book the hotel reservation or to offer a tour package. Also for administrative authorities. The data processed and used in this respect is subject to the data protection regulations to which we are bound.
6. The Use of Google Analytics
7. The Use of Facebook-Plugins
Our website uses social plugins provided by the social network Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Rd, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. The plugins are identifiable by a Facebook logo (white letter f on blue background or a thumb up icon) or the notice “Facebook Social Plugin”. When you visit a page of our website that contains a social plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers. Facebook directly transfers the plugin content to your browser which embeds the latter into the website, enabling Facebook to receive information about your having accessed the respective page of our website. Thus we have no influence on the data gathered by the plugin and inform you according to our state of knowledge: for further information on the scope of data collection and processing please visit Facebook’s private policy at
The embedded plugins provide Facebook with the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged into Facebook, your visit can be assigned to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking “Like”, or entering a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook and stored by it. If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to connect the data concerning your visit to our website with your member data already stored by Facebook, please log off Facebook before entering our website. Further you can block Facebook social Plugins by using add-ons for your browser, like the “Facebook Blocker“.
8. The Use of Google +1 Plug-Ins
The Google +1 button is a way for you to share information publicly with the world. The Google +1 button helps you and others receive personalised content from Google and our partners. The fact that you +1'd something will be recorded by Google, along with information about the page you were viewing when you clicked on the +1 button. Your +1's may appear to others as an annotation with your profile name and photo in Google services (such as in search results or on your Google Profile) or elsewhere on websites and ads on the Internet. Google is recording information about your +1 activity in order to provide you and other users with a better experience on Google services. In order to use the Google +1 button, you need to have a public Google Profile visible to the world, which at a minimum includes the name you chose for the profile. That name will be used across Google services and in some cases it may replace another name you have used when sharing content under your Google Account. Google may display your Google Profile identity to people who have your email address or other identifying information. In addition to the above mentioned Google can process data for statistical reasons, all within the legal requirements stated by Google, for users and partners such as publishers, advertisers and other linked websites.
9. The Use of Social Plug-Ins from Twitter
In the form of Twitter and the re-tweet functions, we use so-called "social plug-ins" from twitter.com, operated by Twitter Inc. 1355 Market St., Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. If you use the re-tweet functions, the websites which you visit will be announced to third parties and linked to your Twitter account. Please refer to the Twitter data protection notices for details on the way in which your data are used by Twitter and on your rights and settings options for protecting your personal data: http://twitter.com/privacy. It is possible to change your privacy settings on your Twitter account at http://twitter.com/account/change settings
